Garfield - a week of garfield download
When Odie gets dognapped by a local feline ruffian, Jon Arbuckle awakes Garfield to put him to the task. Too bad for Garfield that it's Monday -- and that the week ahead of him will be his most treacherous ever. In A Week of Garfield, the lazy orange cat must frantically search for keys and invincibility lasagna while avoiding dangerous spiders and mice.
The gameplay of A Week of Garfield centers around Garfield's frantic search for the keys that allow him access to the next areas. The keys are inexplicably hidden in the background and can only be found by jumping or moving onto where they are located, causing them to appear and be obtainable. Garfield can also throw bones and other objects at the mice, spiders, and cat bosses that will pursue him to the death across his week of hell. A Week of Garfield. Released in Japan only, A Week of Garfield is a Famicom game where the lazy orange cat must rescue Odie from neighborhood ne'er-do-wells.
Its extremely poor quality may have kept it from being released overseas. The game is a side-scrolling platformer with seven levels that represent each day of the week. Each level contains power-ups that can be found by walking over them, such as increasing Garfield's speed or giving him weapon ammo.
Garfield can fight enemies using four weapons: kicks, a bone that flies straight forward, a bomb that splits into four, and three spread-out bullets. If a weapon's ammo runs out, Garfield will not be able to use it until he acquires more.
The only attack that does not require ammo is the kick. Levels are divided into multiple segments, and Garfield must find a key at the end of each segment. Later in the game, the keys will be guarded by an alley cat who attacks Garfield.
Each level has a time limit. When a level is completed, Jon will say something, and the next level will start.
